My experience with Philips kerashine Straightener
I am a girl who prefers having straight hairs over curled hairs. But I am way too frightened of heat and damage. I saw an advertisement for Philips kerashine straightener saying “heat control”. So to be honest I was satisfied after using it. As no straightener can work without heat, this was same with Philips one as well.
The thing I liked the most about this straightener is that it had temperature control feature which no other Philips straightener have. It has two temperature limits – 190 degrees and 210 degrees. If you are straightening your hairs for an event of just 3-4 hours then set the temperature on 190 degrees and then go ahead. But if you want the straightening to last until you wash your hairs, you have to keep the temperature on 210 degrees.
What I personally felt was that is straightener differs a bit from other ones as I earlier gave a try on Nova one too and yes I was so unsatisfied with that. But Philips Kerashine Straightener is having many qualities that impressed me like getting heated in just 60 SEC so as if you are in a hurry, the straightener won’t take long to get heated.
And how can I forget about the shine, I was literally looking as if I had a keratin treatment. But yes as the heat was included in the process, my hair looked dry after washing every time I straightened. So I found few solutions to protect my hairs from heat.
Pro- tips for straightening your hairs with care
· After straightening your hairs make sure you use a good serum. And I personally prefer Streax Pro hair serum here.
· When you are going to wash your hairs do not forget to use massage your scalp and apply oil from roots to tip of your hairs. Keep the oil for at least 1 hour and then wash it off using a mild shampoo. Keep in mind that when you are applying conditioner, not to use it on the scalp. As it is very harmful to skin and can damage your hairs. Conditioners are made to be used on hairs and not be used on the scalp (like shampoo).
· Prefer drying your hair without the help of hair dryers (as here we are trying to reduce the heat damage). It may take longer but it won’t harm the moisture and hydration of your hair. Using a hair dryer will defiantly dry up and damage your hairs.
· When your hairs are a bit wet then apply hair serum such as livon on them. This serum results in shiny and smooth hair. And also results in only fewer tangles in hair.
· As the tips of our hairs are more prone to damage and dryness, don’t ignore them and apply all these above-mentioned things such hair oil before washing, Streax serum and all on them with a lot of care.

I highly recommend not to use straightening on a regular basis whether it a Philips kerashine or usual straightener what all matter is the quality of heat exposed to hairs. And if you want to have straightened hair all the time then go for keratin treatment instead. And if you want to straighten your hairs occasionally and not regularly, then you must follow the “Pro- tips “mentioned here.
